A television news station in Tucson, Arizona, is mourning the sudden death of one of its young anchors.
KOLD 13 News Announcement Ana Orsini, 28, passed away suddenly last week from a brain aneurysm.
“Anna Orsini, you were a one in a trillion woman. Wise beyond your years, full of practical acumen, intelligent, compassionate, resourceful, and a contagious animal… He was loving,” KOLD 13 News evening anchor Dan Maryse wrote. Post on Facebook.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Orsini family at this incredibly tragic time. As parents, we can only imagine their pain and suffering with the sudden, unexpected, and tragic loss of Ana. I can’t even do it,” Maryse added. “The positive impact she had on those around her will last a lifetime. Anna, you are and will be sorely missed.”

Allie Potter, who worked with Orsini as a KOLD weather forecaster, wrote in a tribute: “I literally have no words, just tears. I am still at a loss for words.''
“Last week, we lost a beloved member of the KOLD News team. Anna Orsini was our anchor, morning team leader, and most importantly, to many at the station. He was a great friend,” co-anchor Corey Kowitz wrote in the article. Post to X.
Orsini has been a member of 13 News since June 2023, the paper said.
“Anna's friends and colleagues remember her as someone with immense empathy and who always stood up for the 'little man,'” the station said in a video tribute. “She had a smile on her face for all her colleagues, especially the newcomers and the youngest. In every newsroom she worked in, she took her colleagues under her wing and made sure they were both at work and in life.” He is known for being a strong leader.

Orsini's biography, which has since been removed from the station's website, said: “There are many places Anna once called 'home,' but she always knew Arizona was where she wanted to end up.” It was written.
According to her biography, Orsini was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and began her college career at the University of Arizona. After one semester, Orsini transferred to Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in journalism and minors in communications and sports management.
Orsini captioned a photo on her Facebook page of her twin sisters in UCLA cheer uniforms, calling their home a “house divided.”

“The house is divided. My sisters (yes, twins!) both went to UCLA. Both of my parents went to the University of Arizona. So this weekend I'll be the official tiebreaker. Who do you think I will be?” Are you rooting for me? ” Orsini wrote.
After graduation, Orsini began his television career in Lubbock, Texas, working as an anchor/reporter. She also spent three years as a morning and midday anchor in Medford, Oregon.
