Many mysteries remain about this rescue.

An Arizona woman fell into a well over the weekend and decided to stay there overnight before calling for help.

A woman fell 15 feet from a dry well surrounded by a chain-link fence in a field in Chandler Sunday night. FOX 10 Phoenix reported.

“We don’t know why, but she stayed in the hole and decided to call us this morning,” Chandler Fire Chief Carlos Vargas told the department.

“They didn’t give us too many details about how the incident happened.”
