Army-Navy Football Game Gloriously Records Highest TV Ratings Ever Following Appearance From Trump & Co.

America showed out!

Saturday’s rivalry renewal between Army and Navy brought in a crazy amount of television viewers, so much so that it was the highest ratings ever recorded for “America’s Game.”

Played in Landover, Maryland, it was the Midshipmen who walked away with the victory, pulling off a 31-13 upset win. With the dub, Navy shot up their all-time series advantage to 63-55-7 and, on top of that, they ended a two-game losing streak they had against the Black Knights.

Donald Trump was in attendance for the contest, with his last time showing up for Army-Navy being in 2020. This time, he made an appearance as president-elect. And it wasn’t just Trump — he was also joined by Vice President-elect JD Vance, billionaire (and the right-wing George Soros) Elon Musk, Trump‘s secretary of defense nominee Pete Hegseth, Daniel Penny and other individuals in a luxury suite. And it’s clear that America tuned in to see Trump & Co, because you know what they say: “Numbers don’t lie.”

The Army-Navy game brought in a whopping 9.4 million viewers, which is the highest tally for the event since at least 1990. Its previous record was back in ’92 with 8.45 million. In comparison to the 2023 edition of the contest that brought in 7.2 million viewers, 2024 saw a 31% increase.

It’s the most-watched game for CBS since they were granted the broadcasting rights for Army-Navy back in 1996.

And to make it even crazier, the game was the 11th most-watched overall this college football season, even coming over three conference championships, further showing “The Trump Effect.”

The United States is so back, and Americans are clearly loving it!
