The Army has reportedly held onto 15,600 soldiers eligible for re-enlistment, exceeding the initial target of 14,800 by 800.

“Early achievements [fiscal 2025],” stated Major Gen. Enrique Rose, a senior Army career counselor, “this approach has allowed the Army to efficiently manage its personnel needs.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegses commented on “Trump’s uplift.”
