Arnold Schwarzenegger gushes over Chris Pratt’s love for daughter Katherine, details life as a grandpa

Arnold Schwarzenegger has nothing but praise for his son-in-law Chris Pratt.

Schwarzenegger, 76, appeared on the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce and talked about life with his daughter’s husband and granddaughters.

“He’s a fun guy to talk to,” Schwarzenegger told the NFL’s Pratt brothers.

“I’m so glad my daughter found him,” he continued. “And the fact that he found her…they found each other because they look great together and they look great together. They love each other so much. ”

Schwarzenegger also praised Pratt, calling him a “fantastic” actor.

“I mean, he’s really great,” Schwarzenegger exclaimed. “We talk a lot about show business, because it’s a whole new era. So we talk about show business and when I got into this game.”

Katherine and Pratt met at church and married in June 2019. Maria Shriver helped mediate the pair, and they eventually married in a ceremony in Montecito, California. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Laila, in August 2020.

The author and Guardians of the Galaxy star gave birth to his second daughter, Eloise, in May 2022.

“I love my grandchildren,” Schwarzenegger told the Kelce brothers. “When Catherine comes in with her children and they play with the animals for hours, they really enjoy it.”

“I say, ‘Kids, can you help me feed the animals?’ And I say, ‘Let’s go feed Nellie.’ That’s my pig. So now they are feeding Nellie and teaching her how to care for her. [food] In your mouth and all that kind of stuff,” he said.

“Then they go to the stall with me and I bring Lulu, the miniature donkey, and Whiskey, the miniature pony, and feed them,” he added.
