Astros’ Jose Altuve off to adventurous start in left field vs. Mets

Houston – Jose Altoube's first play in the outfield as a professional baseball player was eventful.

Two outs and two on the first top against the Mets on Thursday, with Brandonnimo lofting the flyball into the left center field.

However, Altuve, who played 1,765 games with the Astros before switching to the left this year, left Myers and cut off the catch to finish the innings.

Altuve was the last important link to the Astros' Scandal Spurse 2017 World Series title, receiving the loudest applause of the day at the opening day ceremony before the match, and was in the leadoff spot in the lineup.

However, the Astros do not consider it to be the same threat in the American League as much as most of the past decade. He is now home to Alex Bregman, the latest exile in Boston.

Altuve, who turned 35 in May, had a 2 base defence with defences down, with Rockies cast-off Brendan Rogers starting there on Thursday, with Mauricio Dubon expected to take time on the spot.
