A search is underway after a shooting outside Hush, a hookah and cigar lounge on Magnolia Street, left four people dead and numerous others injured Saturday night.
Two men and one woman died at the scene, and a fourth person died at a local hospital, Officer Truman Fitzgerald said.
Some of the injured were taken to hospital by emergency personnel, while others made it there on their own.
Injuries range from non-life-threatening to life-threatening, with at least four victims suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Fitzgerald said it appeared multiple shooters opened fire on the crowd in the entertainment district, but it was unclear whether they were on foot or in a vehicle.
He also said the shooting did not appear to be random and officers were trying to determine who was targeted.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
“Rest assured, we will do everything we can to locate, identify and hunt down those responsible for preying on our citizens,” he said. “There's no better source of information than the public, so if you've been here, if you've seen or heard anything, please get in touch.”
Fitzgerald is urging anyone who was present at the time of the shooting to come forward with any information they have to police, as there could be a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
Authorities said the ATF and FBI have been called in to assist in the investigation.
