Australian athlete Michelle Jenneke stumbled and fell during the women’s 100-meter hurdles competition at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday.
Jenneke appeared to have trouble at the third hurdle in the track event at the Stade de France, fell and ended up finishing last in the heats.
Because she completed the event, she still has a shot at a spot in the semifinals. Jenneke could potentially redeem herself by participating in a repechage, which essentially gives competitors a second chance.
