Austin woman says she jumped through her window to escape naked intruder she found smoking drugs in her home

A Texas woman has described a harrowing series of events in which she went to her home to find a naked man smoking drugs after looting her property.

Austin Police say the SWAT team had to respond to Larry Robinson’s home after 44-year-old Larry Robinson broke into her home.

Elena Doge told Key TV She said she returned home after visiting her husband and found that someone had vandalized the house. Her guard dogs were barking and foaming at her mouth.

That’s when she allegedly found Robinson naked and holding a drug pipe and a lighter.

“I don’t think I heard him come in because he didn’t have any shoes on, he didn’t have any other clothes on, so I looked at him and was obviously surprised and just stood there. I froze,” Doge said.

The woman told the man to leave the house, but he did not comply.

“He didn’t have any real reaction. It looked like he wasn’t there,” she said. “He was insane, for lack of a better word.”

When the man started smoking his pipe again, she took the opportunity to call 911, but the call was hung up, she said. She tried to escape to the window, but she could not open it. That’s when Robinson hit her with her dog box, which was on the floor.

“He basically slammed me against the wall with a wooden box, which cut my leg,” Doge said.

She said the man was walking around the house and she believed one of the dogs may have bitten him because he was taunting the dogs. He then returned her attention to her in the living room.

“I still remember it was just a moment of panic for me,” she said.

She jumped backwards out the window and waited for the police to arrive. They called the SWAT team when she told them there were weapons inside her home.

Robinson was arrested after a 90-minute standoff.

“I think we’re dealing with it pretty well, but there’s a lot of things underneath the surface that will take time to repair,” Doge said.

The man is charged with theft.

Doge said she found urine in the hallway and feces in the bathtub. They are waiting for homeowners insurance claims to be processed; GoFundMe account To compensate for the damage caused by a strange incident.
