Autopsy Report Reveals Shocking Details in Death of 11-Year-Old Girl

An autopsy report concerning the tragic case of an 11-year-old girl who was found in a plastic bin behind an abandoned home has surfaced, revealing unsettling details about her death.

Jacqueline “Mimi” Torres Garcia reportedly had both amphetamines and antihistamines in her system. Disturbingly, the report indicated that she experienced starvation prior to her death.

The girl’s remains were discovered in a fetal position, tightly folded inside a laundry bin, which was placed within a black garbage bag. This was found in a 40-gallon rubber tote behind a boarded-up home in New Britain, Connecticut.

At the time of her discovery, she only had a single blueberry in her stomach and weighed just 27 pounds, standing at 4 feet 8 inches tall. The report also mentioned she had “very little subcutaneous fat.”

The medical examiner classified the cause of death as homicide, attributing it to fatal child abuse and severe neglect.

Interestingly, the autopsy did not find any physical trauma on her head, body, or neck, which adds a layer of complexity to the case.

In response to the findings, police have arrested the girl’s mother, Carla Garcia, along with her mother’s boyfriend, Jonathan Nanita, both on suspicion of murder. Additionally, the girl’s aunt, Jaquelin Garcia, faces charges related to the case.

Carla Garcia has been charged with murder, intentional child abuse, and tampering with evidence. Meanwhile, Nanita faces similar charges of murder and intentional abuse.

According to the arrest warrant, all three of them acknowledged their involvement in “intentional restraint, neglect, and cruelty.” Law enforcement officials indicated that Torres Garcia likely died in the fall of 2024, around the period of her upcoming 12th birthday on January 29.

It’s also worth noting that both the mother and her boyfriend had previous arrests linked to violent crimes, while the aunt had a prior arrest for endangering a minor.
