Railway passengers are facing serious confusion on Sunday because the staff of the avanti west coast may affect every weekend until June.
Strikes that have been stopped for two weeks to allow “intensive consultation” between the union and the inter -city railway operators are even worse by the engineering work planned by network rails.
The largest inter -city line service in the UK is a limited service that has been reduced to one train between Youston, Birmingham, Manchester, and Preston in London, and extended to Glasgow. Transportation workers (RMT) for the suspension of maritime and railway union members.
The train runs a limited time -first departs from Eston before 9 am and departs at the end of the station at around 5 pm.
The planned engineering work in the crew area means that some services are diverted, and there are no direct Avanti West Coast trains between London and Liverpool. There is a shuttle service every hour between Liverpool and the crew.
According to Kathryn O'Brien, a customer experience director of Avanti West Coast:
“I am disappointed that the strike action is in progress, and it affects customers who are working and may visit family and friends and enjoy several days.”
RMT has stopped striking in hopes that a “meaningful progress” will be performed in a long -term controversy on break days.
If you can't find a solution, RMT members are planning to continue your Sunday strike until the end of May.
“We are always ready and can be used at any time to make progress by resolving the dispute on this break day,” said RMT spokeswoman.

Passengers with tickets already reserved on Sundays can be used for traveling or refunds between Saturdays and Tuesdays.
People who use the main line on the East Coast are recommended to check before traveling for planned engineering work. Services from London King Scross Station will not be executed on Sundays because trucks, drainage and overhead power lines are improved.
