Several brands of B12 gummy vitamins have been recalled due to undeclared peanut allergens. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) shared news about this on Friday, following a notification from Vita Warehouse Corp., the company behind products marketed as Welby, Berkley Jensen, and Vitaglobe.
The New York-based manufacturer confirmed it voluntarily recalled one batch of the Welby Vitamin B12 Energy Support gummy (1000 mcg, 140 gummies), Berkely Jensen Vitamin B12 (1000 mcg, 250 gummies), and Vitaglobe Vitamin B12 Extra Strength (60 gummies) because of the possible contamination with peanuts.
According to Vita Warehouse, this issue presents a serious risk for individuals who have allergies or severe sensitivities to peanuts, possibly leading to life-threatening reactions if these products are consumed.
The affected vitamins were distributed to retailers across the nation, including Aldi and BJ’s, and are also available online from Aldi’s website, bjs.com, Vitaglobe.com, and Amazon.
As of June 12, the company has not received any reports of related illnesses or reactions.
In light of this recall, Vita Warehouse has provided details of the products involved, including their lot number and expiration date, which can be found on the bottom of each bottle.

The recall was initiated after Aldi conducted routine tests to confirm the accuracy of allergen claims on product labels. One test indicated a potential presence of peanuts.
While internal testing by Vita Warehouse confirmed that the product is peanut-free, the recall is being handled with caution to prioritize consumer safety and trust.
Vita Warehouse assured that no other products under the Welby, Berkley Jensen, or Vitaglobe brands are impacted by this recall.
Consumers who have had allergic reactions are advised to seek medical attention immediately. Those with peanut allergies should check the lot numbers and expiration dates, returning the products to the place of purchase for a refund, or discarding them properly.
Vita Warehouse emphasized its commitment to consumer safety, stating they are fully cooperating with the FDA during this recall process.
