Barbra Streisand lashes out at Trump after he demands Taylor Swift endorse him out of loyalty

Barbra Streisand is furious and lashed out at former President Donald Trump after he criticized her in a letter ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl.

The former president said the popular singer had been disloyal to him even though he supported legislation that benefited her and other artists’ media ownership interests.

“I signed the Music Modernization Act and took responsibility for Taylor Swift and all other music artists. Joe Biden has never done anything for Taylor and never will. Sen,” he wrote.

“There’s no way she could support the crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt president in our country’s history, and be disloyal to the man who made so much money for her.” “And I like her boyfriend Travis. Even if he’s a liberal, I probably can’t stand him!”

Swift has not yet endorsed anyone in the 2024 presidential election, but she previously supported Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

Streisand defended Swift in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday after the Super Bowl.

“Trump telling Taylor Swift that she would be disloyal if she supported Biden! Can you imagine?” she asked.

“This is what a dictator is. He’s really flipped the lid now,” she added.

Swift attended the Super Bowl to watch her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, help the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

Kelce previously knelt during the national anthem during the Black Lives Matter protests that were rampant within the NFL. Many on the left subsequently criticized him for saying he would attend White House events with then-President Trump, calling it an honor, regardless of who was in the Oval Office.

He also faced criticism from the right after appearing in a commercial supporting Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine.
