The rookie quarterback believed the kids and jumped on a FaceTime call, where the prank was revealed.

Williams seemed to laugh off the encounter over the phone, but during an appearance on the St. Brown podcast: Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown; He revealed how upset he was after the prank.

“That night, I was getting text messages all night. I was obviously getting spam calls from all my friends. They were like, 'No way,'” Williams said. look back. “I didn't reply to a single email. I was really pissed off. I was pissed off!”
Williams said she knew the children were filming and was “trying not to flip out,” but when she hung up the phone it was a different story.

Williams doesn't know how he got his number, but claims he's had it for at least 15 years.
“The message was very official. Like I've gotten that message from college coaches and other coaches before I got drafted or anything like that. … It seemed very professional.” Williams said. said, adding that he has since changed his phone number.

“I'm not going to lie. It was a typical prank. A grade A, S grade prank. I have to give you props. I wasn't trapped in the moment.”
