Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore went wide on a play as quarterback Caleb Williams scrambled to find a receiver to pass to, leading to the team's loss to Arizona on Sunday. It became a hot topic during the game they lost to the Cardinals.
The video went viral, with some fans baffled by the players who seemed to have given up on playing.
Bears head coach Matt Eberflus changed his account Wednesday when asked by reporters about what happened with Moore during the play.

Eberflus said Moore twisted his ankle during the play and left the field.
“That's what I saw and that's what it was,” Eberflus said of Moore during the first quarter of play.
Moore appeared to be limping as he walked off the field and immediately tried to sit on the bench. Williams scrambled to the other side of the field but was unable to complete a pass to Keenan Allen near the right sideline.
Mr Moore also gave his own explanation, admitting that he had “twisted” his ankle.
“I saw Caleb scrambling, so I came back and my ankle went in and out. I couldn't stop him, so my momentum sent me over the edge and I just walked away. '' Moore said. “That noise, I heard it and saw it. It didn't really bother me. So it is what it is.”

However, some observers, such as J.J. Watt, noticed that Moore was limping and suggested that he might have been sidelined due to injury.
Moore got the extension he sought this offseason, agreeing to a four-year, $110 million, $82.6 million deal that guarantees he will remain in Chicago for the foreseeable future. He was coming off a career year with 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns in his first season in Chicago.
