Former X-Men 97 showrunner Beau DeMayo claims the studio stripped him of season 2 credits because of homoerotic fan art he posted to Instagram during Pride Month.

The “troubling pattern” DeMayo speaks of appears to be a hint at his sudden and mysterious firing from the show in March.
Marvel responded to DeMeo’s post with its own reasons for parting ways: “Following an internal investigation, Mr. DeMeo was terminated in March 2024,” the studio said.
