Beck advises that Democrats are planning deportations and a ‘warm-up’ in Newark.

Incident at Delaney Hall Detention Center

On May 9, three New Jersey Democratic representatives—Bonnie Watson Coleman, Rob Menendez, and Ramonica McQuiver—joined Newark Mayor Ras Baraka in a surprise visit to the Delaney Hall Detention Center. They encountered ICE agents during this visit.

There’s a notable point made by ICE Action Director Todd Lyons who states that around 75% of the facility’s 152 detainees have either a conviction or pending charge for serious crimes. Yet, it seems that discussions around detention centers have become a pivotal issue. Some Democrats appear firmly committed to this stance, perhaps even at the risk of electoral loss, despite polling suggesting that a significant portion of the American public favors the deportation of undocumented immigrants.

This event in Newark reflects a broader trend. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve seen legal injunctions, sanctuary policies, public protests, and various legislative moves aimed at supporting undocumented immigrants. This isn’t merely a pattern of isolated incidents; it’s a concerted effort that includes the arrest of a Democratic judge accused of assisting immigrants in evading ICE. Advocacy has also unfolded for DACA recipients, amid rising concerns about the Trump administration’s immigration priorities, signaled by allegations involving an MS-13 gang member.

But, honestly, it doesn’t look like these efforts are going to wane anytime soon.

It’s more than just compassion influencing this dynamic; it’s about ideology. Some argue that the left has intentionally pushed for more relaxed border controls and an influx of undocumented immigrants during the Biden administration. These ongoing deportations seem to undermine that objective.

The struggle to retain whatever undocumented presence remains is just beginning. What we’ve witnessed so far in Newark is just the “warm-up act” for the unfolding drama.

In a recent episode of a special segment, an interview with former Border Patrol Chief Tom Homan highlighted some pretty alarming realities ahead. It’s worth checking out.
