Ben Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner are continuing to work together for the sake of their children amid ongoing marital woes with estranged wife Jennifer Lopez.
“They are best friends and the epitome of co-parenting,” a source close to Affleck told Fox News Digital, adding that the former couple recently enjoyed a trip to Japan with their three children — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Representatives for Garner, Affleck and Lopez did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Garner recently revealed on Thursday that her oldest daughter, Violet, will be graduating from high school and attending Yale University this fall, and shared some photos on Instagram of some of the sights and experiences from her vacation.

According to photos obtained by Fox News Digital, both Garner and Lopez visited the “Argo” actor and director at his Los Angeles home on what happened to be Affleck’s 52nd birthday.

Garner shared a poem by Cleo Wade on her Instagram Story titled “it gets better,” which begins with the line, “You’ll never feel blue forever.”
Shortly after sharing the poem, she shared a video of Whitney Houston singing “Where Do Broken Hearts Go,” which includes lyrics such as, “Where do broken hearts go? Can they ever find their way home/To the open arms of love that’s waiting there?”

Rumors about Affleck and Lopez’s marriage took a dramatic turn when Affleck skipped out on Lopez’s lavish “Bridgerton”-themed 55th birthday party. Birthday Party July 2nd.

Appearing on Kevin Hart’s Peacock Show “Heart to Heart” Earlier this year, Affleck spoke about Lopez’s adjustment to fame, admitting that she doesn’t like the attention.
“We went somewhere [Jennifer] “I can’t remember because she’s so famous and she produces this. People love her and she represents something that’s really important to people,” Affleck said of Lopez.[To me,] People say, ‘Hey, I love your movies,’ and then they say, ‘Oh! “We got out of the car and were going to go see a play, and I was like, ‘Fuck it, I’m going to be late, I have to walk a block and a half.’ She was like, ‘Okay,’ and didn’t say anything,” he said. “So she and all the kids walked out through Times Square, and it looked like shit.”
During the conversation, Affleck also addressed the not-so-subtle facial expressions that are often prominent in most of the paparazzi photos of him.
“I don’t like attention,” he says, “so people look at me and think, ‘Why is this guy so angry all the time?’ Someone’s shoving a camera in my face and I’m like, ‘Right, here I go.'”

Rumors of a breakup between the pair began earlier this year after they weren’t seen together for 47 days. Since then, they’ve only been spotted together on rare occasions, such as at the graduation ceremonies of Affleck’s children, Violet and Samuel. Lopez has 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
A source recently told Fox News Digital that the two often clash when it comes to parenting styles.
“They’ve been fighting over differences in parenting,” the source said. “They have very different parenting styles.”

Affleck and Lopez met on the set of Gigli and became engaged in 2002. Affleck proposed and they planned to marry in 2004, but the wedding was called off at the last minute.

In the documentary, Lopez candidly spoke about ending her engagement to Affleck more than 20 years ago.
“Ben and I broke up three days before our wedding,” Lopez revealed. “The pressure just got to me. I think we all go through life thinking, ‘OK, I’ve been through this before.’ If you’re like me, you just have to let go of that pressure and do your best and do what you do.”
