For Ben Bredeson, football season doesn't end on Sunday like it does for other Giants.
Bredeson still wonders if he will be able to finish Monday's retirement press conference in time to fly to Houston with his family to watch his alma mater, the University of Michigan, play against Washington in the College Football Playoff Championship, his younger brother Max. I don't know. game.
“It's fun to see all the effort he puts in lead to some success,” Bredeson told the Post. “For him to be able to play in a national championship now is a great thing to watch. He already has bragging rights against me — this kid has three Big Ten titles, but I am zero.”
Bredeson will play center or left guard in Sunday's game against the Eagles, the final game of his rookie contract.
He was drafted by Ravens head coach John Harbaugh after playing under Jim Harbaugh at the University of Michigan. So the Bredeson brothers certainly share the Herboyism.
“My brother always calls me and asks if we did things a certain way or if he heard this story,” Bredeson said. “These stories seem to repeat themselves every year, so it’s great that we get to experience so many of the same things.”
This may be Harbaugh's last game at Michigan.
After being suspended for two of three games this season, the annual effort to reinstate him into the NFL could become more appealing. One by the NCAA for alleged violations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the other by the Big Ten for violating sportsmanship policies. Because it's related to stealing signs from opponents.

“We don't know how many people are doing that, we don't know what's going on. Nobody knows,” Bredeson said. “I think the team did a great job of coming together until the end.”
Harbaugh coached the 49ers from 2011 to 2014, compiling a 44-19 record.
“He does a great job of adapting his coaching to different teams,” Bredeson said. “College and the NFL are completely different. College students are starting to think about their lives. A different level of accountability and maturity is required here. knows what works and you can see him deal with it.”
With safety Jason Pinnock (toe) not playing against the Eagles and cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder) questionable, the Giants will likely start the game with the same secondary they finished with last week: Dane Belton and Nick MacLeod joins Adree Jackson and Xavier at McKinney.
Center John Michael Schmitz (Shin) was listed as questionable. QB Tyrod Taylor (back) had his limits in Friday's practice.
General manager Joe Schon favors adding playing time and production-based incentives to their contracts, so some players will have a lot of money in their bank accounts come Sunday.
“Of course you're aware of it,” head coach Brian Daboll said. “You want a player with something like that to have 200 yards or seven sacks. Anything that helps us win games.”
OTs Evan Neal (fractured ankle) and Tire Phillips (torn quadriceps) both underwent surgery on Tuesday.
According to The Athletic, Neal visited Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte, while Phillips' surgery was performed by team orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott Rodeo in New York.
RB coach Jeff Nixon has been officially named Syracuse's offensive coordinator. He is also scheduled to coach the Giants on Sunday.
