Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro testified before Congress on media censorship on Wednesday. Invited by Republican lawmakers, Shapiro began his scathing five-minute prepared statement by blasting Democrats for creating an unfair system that financially penalizes conservative media companies.
“In reality, there is an informal pressure system created by Democrats in Congress, the White House, legacy media, advertisers and pseudo-objective brand safety organizations that ensures that ad dollars only go to left-leaning media brands,” he said.
A country that once believed it took sticks and stones to break bones is moving to a belief that words can take life, and the Alphabet Mafia is driving this shift.
Shapiro said, Fearless He is an establishment Republican and a defender of free speech.
I was not impressed, and it had nothing to do with the feud/separation with Candace Owens.
I was not impressed by Shapiro’s lengthy 1,000+ word denunciation because it was aimed at the wrong people. Non-governmental organizations are the main drivers of censorship and attacks on free speech. There is no mention of the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, Black Lives Matter, the LGBTQIA+ Silent P, or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
He excluded NGOs that specialize in making politicians, media executives, influencers, celebrities, advertisers and brand safety organizations offers they can’t refuse.
The ADL, NAACP, BLM, LGBTQIA+, and SPLC all wield the guns to smear any individual or company that violates their orthodoxy.
Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has lived in fear of the Alphabet Mafia. Elon Musk’s troubles with X advertisers are directly related to his dispute with Jonathan Greenblatt and the ADL. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google are tweaking their algorithms to follow the Alphabet Mafia.
Politicians, whether Democrats or Republicans, always defer to NGO pressure groups through self-censorship, voting and legislation.
Censorship is not a partisan issue. Both major political parties in America support some level of censorship. It’s no different than “illegal immigration.” Democrats are for censorship. And Republicans pretend to want to stop censorship. It’s a fake war. They’re all actors.
Thanks to Republicans and Democrats, America is getting closer and closer to passing “hate speech” laws that would make it illegal to read certain passages of the Bible that are deemed “anti-Semitic.”
A country that once believed it took sticks and stones to break bones is moving to a belief that words can take life, and the Alphabet Mafia is driving this shift.
We need to wake up from denying the influence of these NGOs.
Shapiro’s testimony on Wednesday focused on criticizing the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM), a five-year-old globalist organization promoted by the World Economic Forum that sets out “brand safety” guidelines for companies.
“In effect, GARM functions as a cartel; its members account for 90% of U.S. ad spending, nearly $1 trillion,” Shapiro explains. “In other words, without ad dollars from GARM members, it’s nearly impossible to run an ad-based business. And if you don’t conform to their preferred political narrative — the kind of narrative that Kara Swisher and Dianne Feinstein follow — you’re not considered brand-safe, and your business is stifled.”
I am not defending GARM. It is a globalist and Marxist advocacy group. GARM is a gun, a tool developed by the WEF. The women and men who carry guns work for the ADL, NAACP, BLM, SPLC, LGBTQIA+Silent P.
GARM is harmless if you eliminate the gunmen, who are the fancy-titled clowns within the Alphabet Mafia.
Greenblatt of the ADL, Derrick Johnson of the NAACP, Margaret Hoang of the SPLC, Patrisse Cullors of BLM, and legions of LGBTQIA+ allies are pulling the trigger and financially blackmailing our political leaders.
Demonizing or excluding Democrats will not stop the censorship movement.
The power that drives the Alphabet Mafia must be destroyed. That power is victimhood. Victims want special privileges and rights and will do whatever it takes to get them.
Republicans like to present themselves as victims of censorship. They are not. They are victims of their own cowardice, just like American Christians.
We Christians are not willing to shamelessly defend our faith for fear of being slandered by the alphabet mafia. We want to be inclusive. God wants us to belong to Him alone.
