An Arizona man has been charged with murdering his childhood friend after Alijah Bradley's headless body was found in the desert, police said.
The body of a 24-year-old man was discovered near the town of Gila Bend several days after the victim's family reported him missing.
Samuel Bush, 23, was indicted on Sept. 4 on charges of second-degree murder and concealment of a body.

Bradley's relatives were confused as to the motive. Tell that to KPHO and KTVK.“To be honest with you, we don't know. He was Sam's best friend. He was Sam's only friend.”

The relative, who asked not to be named, also told the outlet that the family reported Bradley missing on August 15 after he took time off work and had not heard from his mother, adding that President Bush had told the family he did not know where Bradley was.

Police obtained the GPS coordinates of Bradley's vehicle, which was tracked to a “nowhere area” in the desert, where police found the vehicle and Bradley's body on August 19th.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital that authorities found Bradley's body in dismemberment and that all of the remains have been recovered. Police have not commented on a motive.
“It's tragic. He was just entering adulthood,” said Bradley's aunt, Melissa McNeill. He told ABC15. “I don't feel any relief or anything because this isn't going to bring him back and it doesn't solve anything.”

His mother, who has not been named, told the outlet: “I will dedicate my life to getting justice for my son.”

Bradley, a graduate of Northern Arizona University who had recently celebrated his birthday, was “known for his free spirit and wild soul,” according to his family's fundraising page.
