'Beyond Renee Good': The true driving force behind Don Lemon's church protest

When Justine Damond was shot by a Somali police officer in Minneapolis, her death didn’t spark the protests or riots often seen in similar cases.

Damond, a white woman, had called for police assistance but was instead shot when they arrived. The officer involved claimed he fired out of fear.

“For these activists, particularly those associated with Black Lives Matter, it’s not really about the individual victims. It’s more a systemic issue; they believe America itself is oppressive and unjust,” noted Blaze TV host Allie Beth Stuckey.

She elaborated that there’s a perception among some of these activists that institutions, especially churches in America—often conservative—are adversaries. This belief was highlighted when former CNN anchor Don Lemon and Black Lives Matter supporters protested against a church related to the ICE shooting of Renee Goode.

Stuckey pointed out that the protest wasn’t truly about Goode, Somalis, or even illegal immigrants present. “These events are just excuses for activists to launch attacks against Christians, conservatives, and anyone else they view as a hurdle,” she stated.

“The reality is that 2020 wasn’t about George Floyd. 2026 won’t be about Renee Goode. It’s about creating chaos to undermine America and Western civilization,” she added, suggesting that groups funded by George Soros are behind these movements.

She mentioned that the protest staged by Cities Church was streamed live by Black Lives Matter, which had previously received significant funding from the Soros-supported Tides Foundation.

Furthermore, reports indicate that Invisible Twin Cities, another group receiving millions from Soros’s Open Society Foundations, is linked to the anti-ICE protests taking place in Minneapolis.

“They don’t have altruistic motives,” Stuckey asserted, questioning why there’s funding for such protests if it’s not driven by disdain for America. “It seems more about opposing the country itself.”
