Jeff Bezos, owner of aerospace company Blue Origin, is “very optimistic” about the next White House administration, despite President-elect Trump's close relationship with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. .

Musk has spent more than $500 million on Trump's campaign and has had the president-elect's ear on space issues.
Last month, Musk said the U.S. should send a mission to Mars first instead of the moon, fueling industry fears that it would be a major change to NASA's space exploration plans.
Asked if he was concerned about changes to NASA's moon program, Bezos said: “My own opinion is we should do both. We need to go to the moon, we need to go to Mars. ” he said.

Amazon will donate $1 million to President Trump's inaugural fund and stream the event on its Prime Video service. Mr. Bezos told Reuters that he had spoken with Mr. Trump, but “we didn't really talk about space.”
