Bible opened to book of Revelation found in devastated NC brings hope to Marine vet’s family in Hurricane Helene aftermath

The family of a Marine veteran miraculously found a Bible stuck in a fence post in an area of ​​North Carolina that was devastated by Hurricane Helen. According to his family, the Bible was open to the Book of Revelation, a sign from God.

Swann's family placed the Bible in a protective case, seeing it as a powerful reminder of resilience.

“This Bible was taped to this fence post that was open to the Apocalypse,” said the anonymous brother. “Of all the things that have been destroyed, it's been left open and left there and we haven't touched it.”

The brother revealed that a man in South Carolina made and donated a cross made of cedar next to the Miraculous Bible.

Woodworker Joey Brown placed a plaque on the cross that read, “Donate to Hurricane Helen Victims.”

Brown told Swann that he donated the cross to “spread the word of God and let people know they are not alone in this hurricane and this hardship.”

“This is surprising considering people's reactions,” Swan's brother said.

Hurricane Helen dumped nearly 30 inches of rain on western North Carolina in just three days in late September, or nearly four months' worth of rain.
