Radio host Charlamagne Tha God was asked about her recent comments in an interview Tuesday night that she regretted supporting the Biden-Harris race in 2020.

CNN host Abby Phillippe asked Charlamagne about his hospitalization. “He doesn't regret supporting Joe Biden,” he said.

“When I say I stand by it, I'm putting my name and my reputation on the line with the listener. And when the listener feels like he didn't deliver well, he comes back to me and says, 'You know what? “Hey, you're the one who supports it.” “You're the one who told us to vote for Joe Biden. You're the one who told us to vote for Kamala Harris.” So, You know, I care about my listeners and what they think. But what I'm saying is, I think President Biden has historically been – for lack of a better word – a shy person. He's an elected official, but as we all know, Donald Trump is the end of democracy as we know it. ”

Phillip asked if he would vote for Biden again.

“I'm not sure,” he answered. Philip asked him again, “So are you voting for Joe Biden?”

“I think it's simple and clear: Donald Trump is the end of democracy as we know it. I don't know what to tell people. And I know it sounds like that. . Now, in 2024, when you say that, you've heard that.'' Because every time there's a Republican candidate, people say, “Oh, that's the end of democracy, he's the Antichrist.'' . “This is one of those times where you know it's actually, definitely true,” he said.

Philippe also asked Charlamagne about Vice President Harris, who he said “disappeared” when she arrived at the White House during an interview with Politico.

He said the Biden administration is not allowing her to be “who she wants to be” and suggested she is becoming too much of a “politician.”

“I learned a lesson from that.” he told Politico. In the interview, he mentioned Harris and his 2020 supporters. “Once they got into the White House, she… disappeared.”

“Democrats are bad at getting their message across. We already know this,” he added, adding that while Biden and Harris have done some “great things,” they're not good at getting their message across. He claimed that he did not know.

Podcast host Angela Rye pushed back on her comments about Harris.

“She needs authority and has the power to walk in that power. She has owned and claimed so much of what is in her portfolio. I think the unfortunate thing is that she is sounding the alarm. “The people on her team are sounding the alarm, but that's not reflected in the people in the White House,” she claimed.

Rye cited Harris' visit to Atlanta and work with voting rights groups. She said she was “talking to the bases that they need.”

“Why wait for President Barack Obama to ignite the campaign and come out?” Charlamagne said, arguing that he should have done it for months.

He also mentioned Biden's speech at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston and his subsequent visit to a soul food restaurant.

“That's what Democrats have been doing for years. It's not effective anymore. They just show up to black churches and go to soul food restaurants,” he said.
