Pirela-Pirela was eventually arrested again in New Braunfels, Texas, and transferred to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in San Antonio.

Former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan accused the Biden administration of allowing major international criminals free entry into the United States.
