Biden administration taken action Alaska 3 times more Iran

According to Governor Mike Dunleavy (R-Alaska), the Biden administration has imposed stronger sanctions on Alaska than on Iran.

Glenn Beck calls this a “quite a statement,” but Dunleavy has the facts to back it up.

“Since the Biden administration took office, there have been 55 actions against one state,” Dunleavy told Glenn, noting that Alaska is not just a state, but a state that produces important resources. he pointed out.

In contrast, the administration has taken only 19 actions against Iran.

In 2017, President Trump signed the Jobs Act mandating lease sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The Biden administration then unilaterally canceled them, which Dunleavy called “a violation of the law.”

“This is huge because it involves probably one of the last remaining huge oil and gas fines in North America that has been delisted. Offshore oil leases in the Arctic will be delisted. ” Dunleavy said.

“This is just the latest in a series of so-called sanctions against Alaska that make it difficult to produce oil.”

Under the Clinton administration, sawmills in southeast Alaska were dismantled. Once President Trump took office, he began restoring the state as a timber, mining and recreation workforce.

But once Biden took office, the government shut down the policy again.

“It’s just been a series of different actions and different executive orders targeting Alaska year after year,” the governor tells Glenn, explaining that resources are the reason Alaska exists as a state.

This began in 1959 and required Alaska to collectivize all its resources under a government in order to become a state. This is because the population is too small to be covered by income taxes.

“That’s the cruel irony of this whole case. We were allowed to come in as a state as long as we developed our resources, and now we’re being told we can’t develop our resources. “It means that its continued existence as an institution is in question,” Dunleavy explains.

Glenn takes this as a warning.

“If we can do this in Alaska, we’ll do it in many states,” he says.
