Biden campaign: Trump doesn’t want Haley voters

President Biden’s re-election campaign said on Monday that former President Trump did not want supporters of Republican Nikki Haley in his campaign and had not contacted them.

“Mr. Trump’s outreach to Haley voters does not exist,” the Biden campaign said in an email. “Donald Trump doesn’t want moderate, independent, Haley voters.”

“Donald Trump and his campaign have made it clear that if you are not a MAGA disciple, you are not welcome in his campaign,” Biden campaign spokesman James Singer said in a statement. “Donald Trump slams the door in their faces, while Biden The president is reaching out to bring them into the coalition.”

The Biden campaign has maintained since the day Haley withdrew from the race that Trump had no intention of appealing to them. The Biden-Harris team is aiming for an opportunity for Republican lawmakers to join the Biden campaign and for President Trump to oust them.
