The Biden campaign held a news conference Tuesday morning outside the Manhattan courtroom where closing arguments in former President Donald Trump’s business records trial were scheduled to begin.
Appearing at the press conference on January 6th were actor Robert De Niro, two former Capitol Police officers, and House candidates Harry Dunn and Michael Fannon.
De Niro was in full Trump Derangement Syndrome mode, claiming that he would “never” leave office if Trump were elected.
“I tell you, if I become president, I will never resign. I will never resign. You all know that. I will never resign,” De Niro said, claiming that Trump would make himself a “dictator for life”.
“What does that mean? Is that the country we want to live in? Do we want him to run this country and say, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m dictator for life?'” he added.
“I hope this new ad campaign will reach outside the bubble and remind his supporters what a danger he is to our way of life. This is not a threat, this is reality,” he continued.
De Niro called Trump supporters “clowns” and “gangsters.”

The move was a sign of desperation: Trump and dozens of his supporters have held virtually daily news conferences outside the courthouse over the past few weeks, providing a high-profile platform.

“You’re here, you’ve been covering this relentlessly, every day,” Dunn said when asked by a reporter why he was holding a press conference outside the courtroom, “and we want to remind the American people ahead of the first debate on June 27th of the unique, enduring and growing threat that Donald Trump poses to the American people and our democracy.”
Last week, Trump held a campaign rally in the Bronx that reportedly drew an estimated 25,000 supporters.
The move also has political overtones: President Joe Biden has reportedly remained silent about the trial in order to discredit Trump’s accusations of political persecution. POLITICO On Friday, it was reported that Biden would make a statement once the verdict was announced, but that it would not appear “political” as it would be from a White House “venue” rather than a campaign event.
But that all changed Tuesday morning when the Biden-Harris campaign announced it would hold a news conference outside the courthouse.

In case you needed further proof that all of these silly events were engineered by the Biden campaign to interfere in the 2024 election, the Biden campaign is currently out in New York openly cheering on the political prosecution of my father.
