Biden's comments came in a recent interview. USA Todayreleased on Wednesday.

Biden claimed that he personally implored Trump during Trump's visit to the White House in November to avoid trying to “settle things,” and that certain individuals would be legally bound to do so through 2024 and before. He seemed to imply that the Democratic president was well aware that he was trying to hurt Trump politically.

“I tried to make it clear that there was no need to do that, but it was counterintuitive to his interests to go back and try to settle things,” Biden said.

“He didn't say, 'No, I'm going to…' He didn't reinforce it. He basically just listened,” Biden continued.

Biden recently pardoned 1,500 people in December, the most ever granted by a US president in a single day.

The outgoing Democratic president also pardoned his 54-year-old son Hunter, who is facing sentencing on federal firearms charges and tax evasion, despite multiple promises not to do so. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre similarly promised that Biden would not pardon his controversial son.

Biden, meanwhile, acknowledged this week:[hasn’t] “We are still deciding whether to grant additional amnesty,” he added, “and it depends on who does it.” [Trump] What position should you place it in? ”

Mr. Bondi and Mr. Patel have vowed, if confirmed, to go after the corrupt “deep state” that weaponized the justice system against President Trump under the Biden administration.

“[In] The bad guys, the Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted,” Bondi previously declared regarding the charges against Trump. “Investigators will be questioned.”

Patel also said, “People in the media who have lied about the American people; [and those] He is the person who helped Joe Biden rig the presidential election. ”

“We're going to pursue you criminally and civilly. We understand that. But yeah, we're warning everyone,” Patel continued.

Patel previously announced that he would close the FBI Hoover Building on the first day and reopen it as a museum of the Deep State the next day.

“Then we're going to take the 7,000 people who work in that building and send them across America to chase criminals. Be cops. You guys are cops, be cops,” he added.

Some Democratic officials have expressed concern that Mr. Biden has expressed interest in additional pardons because of precedent, but there is a possibility that Mr. Trump will go after specific corrupt figures connected to the Biden administration. Some believe that additional amnesty is necessary due to concerns that

“I think, without question, Trump is going to act in an authoritarian, fascist, vindictive manner.” [way his] The first year … is for individuals who we believe have caused harm to them,” said Democratic Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.).

“If it’s sunny by January 19th.”th that [revenge] If that is his intention, I would encourage President Biden to grant pre-emptive pardons to Americans, because that's what our country really needs next year,” he continued.
