Biden Considers Trying to Sabotage Trump’s Deportation Plans

President Joe Biden is considering a plan to thwart President-elect Donald Trump's deportation efforts, a new report suggests.

According to new york timesBiden is looking at Comprehensive quasi-amnesty protection for immigrants who would otherwise face deportation:

Biden administration considers expanding protections for hundreds of thousands of immigrants His U.S. status is set to expire in the first few months of the Trump administration, according to U.S. officials and documents seen by The New York Times. [Emphasis added]

The measure would make it more difficult, if not impossible, for President-elect Donald J. Trump to deport these people. But it signals that the Biden administration may try to erect some obstacles in its final weeks to the largest deportation in U.S. history promised by Trump.

As Breitbart News reported, Biden has already significantly expanded the number of immigrants with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) who remain in the United States.

When Biden took office, fewer than 320,000 immigrants were in the U.S. under TPS. Now, Biden has inflated the total number of immigrants to more than 1 million.

Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), and Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) have been pushing for weeks to expand and extend TPS. , and has also lobbied Mr. Biden to expand immigration benefits for illegal immigrants. They are enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program for the sole purpose of making it more difficult for the incoming Trump administration to deport them.

“What I'm taking is what I'm hearing from the incoming administration: They're going to do mass deportations and no one will be safe,” Cortez Masto said. “That's why I'm calling on the government to intervene now to protect some immigrant communities: TPS recipients and DACA recipients.”

Incoming border czar Thomas Homan, who previously led Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is tasked with carrying out President Trump's goal of creating the largest deportation program in American history.

Deportation will begin on day one, Homan said.

“first day, [there] They're going to be ICE agents across the country and they're going to be on the streets,” Homan told CNN. “…The President has made it clear, and I have made it clear:” [our] priority immediately [is] There are many public safety threats and national security threats. ”
