CNN contributor Scott Jennings said Sunday on CNN's “State of the Union” that President Joe Biden will leave office in “disgrace.”
Host Dana Bash said: Joe Biden is no longer president. How will his tenure be remembered? ”
Mr. Jennings said: Hunter Biden's pardon was a disgrace. He will be remembered primarily for inflation and the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. ”
He continued, “As we continue to learn, and I think we just got the first draft of this, as we continue to learn about the massive cover-up that's been going on, it's not about his health, it's about his health. “You're going to learn about mental acuity.” Covering it up has been an effort by the White House staff and his family for four years, not the past few months. I think it’s going to be a really ugly chapter.”
He added: “It's diminished his stature as president, and I don't think we yet know the full extent of what they've done to cover up what they've been repeating in the West Wing.” he added.
