On Thursday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Democratic strategist James Carville said President Joe Biden “listened to this stupid leftist when he took office” on the border and said he wants to slow down on the issue. However, he said the problem could still be resolved.
Moderator Chris Cuomo asked, “What do you think about Mr. Biden’s dual focus on immigration, and why did it take so long?” He conducts enforcement activities. …The numbers are in the toilet. …Maybe it’s a little too late? ”
Carville replied: I think he hopes so – when he became president and was a little late from the eight ball here, he listened to these stupid leftists. But there was an article written by a friend of mine, Democratic Senate candidate Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), with a Republican businessman. [that] This echoes what President Clinton said. “Let these people work.” they’re here. They are awaiting asylum hearings. They are waiting for this. Let’s put them to work. And I think Colin is exactly right. … We have these immigrants, they are here, we are waiting to figure out what to do with them, but let’s get them employed. Let’s introduce them – let’s make them work. ”
