Biden losing support among Black voters in swing states: Survey

The Wall Street Journal poll was conducted March 17-24 among 218 to 354 registered voters and had a margin of error of plus or minus 5.2 to 6.6 percentage points.

The Biden campaign has stepped up efforts in recent weeks to appeal to voters of color. Black voters overwhelmingly supported Biden in 2020, with 92% voting for him. According to the analysis from Pew Research Center.

Last month, his campaign launched an ad that spoke directly to black voters in battleground states, arguing that Trump’s reelection would be a “disaster” for the demographic. The move comes after recent polls showed Biden losing support among black voters, with a New York Times/Siena College poll showing him losing support in six battleground states. That includes 22% of black voters saying they would vote for Trump.
