The Border Patrol union on Saturday ridiculed President Biden’s visit to the Texas border this week.
The union posted on X (formerly Twitter) a photo of Biden resting on a beach lounge chair, along with a joke itinerary for the day: “Get on AF1, take a nap. Wake up in a place called Brownsville.” “Read the big message in the prompt: ‘It’s all Trump’s fault.’ , take a nap. Wake up, cover, go to the beach, take a nap.”
During a visit to Brownsville on Thursday, Biden lamented the failure of the bipartisan immigration bill to pass the Senate and accused President Trump of using it as a political issue. Many Republicans have opposed the bill, arguing it doesn’t go far enough.
“A majority of Democrats and Republicans in both houses of Congress support this bill,” Biden said in Brownsville, “until someone comes along and says, stop doing things that benefit the incumbent. That’s business in America. That’s an outrageous way to do it.” for such a serious problem. ”

The president faces increasing scrutiny over his border response as Border Patrol continues to report record numbers of encounters with migrants.
There were over 300,000 encounters in December alone, an all-time record.
The issue could also deal a political blow to Biden ahead of the November presidential election.
President Trump also stood at the border in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Thursday, calling “Biden’s immigration crimes rampant,” referring to last week’s murder of Georgia student Laken Riley, allegedly by a Venezuelan immigrant. Stated.

Border Patrol unions frequently mock the president over illegal immigration.
