Biden refused to board British naval ship due to ‘too many steps,’ Boris Johnson claims

President Biden refuses to visit Royal Navy's new flagship aircraft carrier due to high step count, gives Boris Johnson's wife 'a little sparkle' during 2021 visit, says former British prime minister, forthcoming claimed in his autobiography.

But Mr. Biden appeared tactful enough to joke with Mr. Johnson's new wife, Carey, then 33, and appeared to give her “a little bit of a glow,” the former prime minister wrote.

Biden, who attended the summit with his wife Jill, said he and Johnson were “married above us” and joked that he and Carey secretly took walks together.

“'Why don't you and I go to the beach and leave this guy here?'” Johnson told Carey in his memoir, adding, “Jill Biden “I made it into a ball,” he wrote.

Biden's 2021 G7 visit was marked by several embarrassing blunders. This includes the scene where he corrected Mr. Johnson for not introducing the “President of South Africa,'' even though Mr. Johnson had already failed to introduce him by name during a roundtable discussion.
