President Biden delivered his farewell attack to the press on Sunday night during a public event at the White House.
Fox News' Lucas Tomlinson reported that after signing the Social Security Fairness Act, Biden took several questions from the audience, which led to the president targeting President-elect Donald Trump.
“Do you still believe he is a threat to democracy?” a reporter asked.
“I think his actions were a real threat to our democracy,” Biden responded.

Biden hounded by NBC's Lester Holt over unfavorable media coverage: 'What's going on?'
After Biden responded to allegations that President Trump was planning to abolish birthright citizenship, he turned the conversation to attacking reporters.
“I may be the oldest president, but I know more world leaders than anyone you'll ever meet in your life!” Biden said.
Some X users were quick to slam the comments.
“He's a lively guy,” journalist Salena Zito joked.
“What a bitter person,” said conservative communicator Steve Guest.
“This is Washington fiduciaryism in a nutshell. Politicians become 'entitled' just by existing. Biden is a dismal failure and the worst foreign policy figure in American history.” One thing doesn't matter. Look, he knows a lot of people and that's all that matters,” Red State writer Bonchy wrote.
CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings quipped: “This is the most polite, respectful, devout Catholic president we've ever had.”
Biden has fiercely attacked the press throughout his term, sometimes making offensive comments to reporters themselves.
In November, before leaving office, Biden mocked a reporter who asked if he could broker a hostage deal between Hamas and Israel.
“President Biden, do you think you can accomplish a hostage deal before the end of your term?” asked an Israeli Channel 13 correspondent.

In 2022, he even referred to Fox News' Peter Doocy as “a stupid son of a b—-” after questioning whether inflation was considered a political liability ahead of the midterm elections. Doocy said Biden later called him to “clear the air” and insisted the remarks were “not personal.”
