Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) mentioned on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that Democrats might hold the primary since former President Joe Biden was anticipated to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.
Host Kristen Welker inquired, “If President Biden steps down early, does the party still stand a chance in 2024?”
Klobuchar responded, “Looking back after losing, it’s easy to say we would have benefited from a primary. But the reality is different now—we’re not reflecting on history.”
“Let me clarify. We aren’t just reviewing past events or concerned about our Republican counterparts. If we focus on blaming Joe Biden for everything instead of addressing current realities, we’ll miss opportunities. Donald Trump is the president now, and our entrepreneurs need to seize this moment.”
