Biden slammed over Twitter account still touting Pride Month — and not July 4: ‘Shameful!’

President Biden Burned As if he’d eaten a hot dog at a Fourth of July barbecue on Thursday, a banner on his official X account still promoted Pride Month and didn’t acknowledge the country’s 248th birthday until inquired by The Washington Post.

“Biden’s 4th of July profile banner is still all about Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Shameful!” One X user was defeated.

Some users on the social media site slammed the president’s aides, who have had their hands full fending off calls for the 81-year-old president’s head since his disastrous defeat in last week’s debate with Republican presidential rival Donald Trump.

“July 4th, banner on President’s X account reads ‘Happy Pride Month’. Biden’s entourage is getting sloppy.” One user wrote.

Another person criticized White House staff for trying to explain away Biden’s debate problems – his hoarseness, stumbling over words and stuttering – by claiming he was recovering from a cold.

“Anyone criticizing President Biden for still flying the Pride flag on Independence Day should stop. Remember, he’s still got a cold.” Written by a user With sarcasm.

The White House did not immediately respond to The Washington Post’s request for comment on Thursday, but the banner on the X account was changed at some point Thursday afternoon to one that read “Happy Independence Day” and featured fireworks and the presidential seal.

The account had two posts commemorating Independence Day on Thursday, including one that read, “Happy Independence Day America! God Bless you all and God Protect our Military.”
