With nine days left until President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, Biden shared with X that the economy he is leaving America with is “the best in the world.”

With President Biden in office, inflation has become a major challenge for the administration. Inflation rose significantly during his first two years in office, reaching a peak of 9.1% in June 2022. It has since declined, but remains higher than when Trump left office in 2021.

Since he took office, egg prices have nearly doubled. There are reports that egg prices have increased by 50% compared to 2020, when President Trump was in office.

Biden is scheduled to deliver a prime-time farewell address to the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday, January 15th at 8pm ET.
