Issue: Former President Barack Obama ushers President Biden off stage at a major fundraiser.
During a fundraiser in California over the weekend, former President Barack Obama pulled “Hand Puppet Joe” Biden offstage, presumably to feed him ice cream and change his diaper. (“Weak Joe Doesn’t Care About Democrat Gaffes,” Piers Morgan, June 18)
How could anyone who has any compassion for older people allow this to go on for another four years?

It’s clear that Obama is Biden’s puppet master.
If Biden is re-elected, America will continue its transition into the world’s largest and most corrupt banana republic.

I understand that the Post is a newspaper with a right-wing leaning.
But what on earth could be wrong with a man standing in front of a cheering audience for a moment to thank them for their support before walking off stage with his closest friends? I’m curious. Tell me.

The video showing President Obama shaking President Biden’s hand during a Democratic fundraiser in Los Angeles was heartbreaking to watch.
It reminds me of that second grade field trip where I had to hold my partner’s hand so my child wouldn’t let go. I’m no fan of Biden, but I certainly don’t want to be publicly humiliated as a person.
There is no doubt that he is unfit to serve a second term as President, and we should all keep this in mind as we vote this November.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see President Biden being walked by President Obama’s dog.
They actually have a lot in common and a strong connection, just like a good owner has with their pet.
They are mass murderers and war criminals. Obama’s drone attacks slaughtered thousands of innocent children in Pakistan, Afghanistan and other parts of the Middle East. Similarly, Biden’s appeasement of Israel makes us complicit in the genocide of Palestinians.
It’s time for Biden and his owner to retire somewhere where the red ferns grow.

The issue: A retiree advocacy group, a branch of the teachers union, took down an ally of Chancellor Michael Mulgrew.
In a story about the UFT retired teachers chapter election, the Post called the winners “renegade” opponents of the pro-retiree faction (“Retired New York City Teachers Furious Over Medicare Coverage, Kick Out Union President’s Associate,” June 16).
We, the Silver Foxes, are simply standing up for ourselves: to preserve the health benefits we earned when we retired, and to protect our democratic voice in our own union.

The retiree advocacy group UFT won because they are the legitimate opposition caucus within the union, fighting to preserve the original Medicare plan and its members’ existing premium-free supplemental health benefits. Plain and simple.
They are not just a rebel group as has been reported.

UFT retirees were told they would still be able to continue with health insurance after they left the company.
We sacrificed years in office, worked low wages, and held our city together through many crises, and now, as we reach old age when health insurance is essential, both the city and the union I supported and paid my dues for are trying to take it away by forcing us onto a different plan.
