Discussion on Biden’s Inner Circle

On Wednesday, Axios reporter Alex Thompson discussed on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” how those close to former President Joe Biden have chosen to remain loyal to him.

Co-host Jonathan Remia remarked, “Every White House, regardless of whether it’s a Republican or Democrat administration, tries to present the president in a favorable light.”

He inquired, “What actions did this administration take to protect the principal? Why are people calling it a cover-up?”

“I think many of these situations begin innocently,” Thompson responded. “For instance, the speechwriting team has noticed he can’t deliver speeches the way he once did. There’s certainly a sense of loyalty to the principles and to the major institutions involved.”

Host Joe Scarborough then asked, “Who exactly is in this inner circle?”

Thompson identified key figures as Mike Donilon, Steve Richetty, Bruce Reid, and Annie Tomasini, who work closely with the First Lady. These individuals have frequently observed Biden’s activities and play significant roles in managing his daily schedule.
