Fox News contributor David Webb discusses whether changes are coming behind the scenes following Hollywood star George Clooney’s op-ed calling on President Biden to step down.
Webb said Thursday on “Fox & Friends First” that President Biden has had problems going back much further than the past three weeks and that Clooney is a “coward” for only now acknowledging that.

David Webb: Remember what I said: This is Biden. He’s here. Jill is going to keep him there. By the way, this is a dysfunctional family willing to sacrifice a family member for power. And this is something we have to recognize. Clooney is a coward. Because Clooney knew it. What happened to Joe Biden didn’t happen in the last three weeks. If he broke his leg one day, he was fine the day before. That was three weeks ago. This is not a broken leg. This is a growing problem for a deranged president.
George Clooney urges Biden to step down or risk losing
Actor George Clooney President Biden In an op-ed essay for The New York Times on Wednesday, he announced his intention to withdraw from the 2024 race, just weeks after raising millions of dollars for Democratic candidates.
“It’s shocking to say this, but the Joe Biden I was sitting with at a fundraiser three weeks ago was not the ‘big’ Joe Biden of 2010. It wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. It was the same guy we all witnessed at the debates.” Clooney writes:.
“Was I tired? Yes. Did I have a cold? Maybe. But it’s time for our party leaders to stop pretending 51 million people didn’t see what we saw. We were all so frightened by the prospect of a second Trump term that we chose to ignore all the warning signs,” he continued.

This actor, Hollywood elite and megadonors Biden faced backlash after the debate, where his halting, weak and sometimes confused performance unsettled his supporters. Members of his own party, political allies and liberal media figures also pressured the president to drop out of the race and warned that Biden could not beat former President Trump.
