Investigation into Biden’s Cognitive Health Continues
As discussions unfold regarding what former President Joe Biden’s close advisors perceived about his supposed cognitive issues, a contributing insider expressed surprise at the prevailing “fog of denial” surrounding older individuals.
Chris Whipple, author of “Uncharted,” noted, “They [his advisors] essentially, even when things were clearly declining, clung to their beliefs, preferring their own narratives over reality.” He revealed this while analyzing the 2024 presidential race.
Whipple spoke with several members of Biden’s inner circle after the backlash from his debate performance. This criticism, he argues, played a significant role in his decision to suspend his reelection campaign.
This week, lawmakers in the House reportedly highlighted their own observations of Biden’s increasingly forgetful moments. Notably, former chief of staff Ron Crane has been cooperating with Whipple in his research.
Whipple shared in an interview, “Despite the apparent failure—the disastrous debate performance that was evident to all—Crane remained firm on Biden’s campaign, convinced he could still confront Trump.” He mentioned that Crane was forthright when discussing Biden’s condition during a preparatory meeting at Camp David.
House Republicans have initiated an inquiry into the cognitive fitness of the former president, urging ex-officials from Biden’s administration to provide testimonies about their experiences.
Interestingly, many witnesses, including Biden’s former doctor, have refrained from answering questions posed by lawmakers, invoking their rights.
From his interactions, Whipple conveyed skepticism about any secretive strategy to manipulate the presidency.
Whipple remarked, “The idea that last year, Biden was merely a puppet in a grand scheme is absurd. This sort of interpretation is just off the mark.” He also stated that the allegations surrounding Biden’s team seem unlikely to lead to substantial revelations or outcomes.
