Bikini-clad barista takes hammer to customer’s windshield after he throws coffee at her

The owner of Seattle’s Bikini Espresso Shop is defending his decision to smash his windshield with a hammer after a customer threw coffee at him.

The incident at Taste of Heaven Espresso was caught on camera at 3pm on June 11 and shared in a video that is now going viral on social media. Emma Lee, 23, said: “I was so shocked. Lee said the video showed the culmination of a 15-minute argument over the price of a 32-ounce cup of coffee and a 24-ounce cup of water, which cost $22.

In security camera video that Lee posted to his Instagram page, he can be heard demanding that customers leave.

“No one will spare you,” the man can be heard saying.

“Shall I throw this to you?” she asked him.

“Take those,” he said, accepting the two cups.

He then opened a water bottle and threw it at her, before doing the same with the coffee.When he returned to his car, Lee took out a hammer and smashed the windscreen of his car before driving off.

“You can’t set your own prices,” Lee told FOX 13, adding that the man yelled, spat and tried to pry open the store’s windows.

“It was intimidation,” Lee said. “I felt unsafe.” It’s fine if he gets angry about the price of a drink and attacks me, but is it appropriate for me to respond?”

Lee called police and filed a misdemeanor assault charge, he told FOX 13. Seattle police did not immediately respond to a request from Fox News Digital for more information.

The customer will be barred from visiting the store again.
