Bill Belichick backs Jordon Hudson at Miss Maine during UNC ban situation: ‘Coach is present’

Jordon Hudson’s Pageant Debut

Jordon Hudson, 24, took the stage recently in the Miss Maine competition at Holiday in the Bay in Portland, where she drew attention not just for her performance, but also for carrying what seemed to be a $3,500 Dior bag. Supporting her was none other than Bill Belichick, who was spotted on the sidelines.

A source connected to Belichick, 73, confirmed that the former Patriots coach had arrived at the venue on Saturday afternoon.

Hudson, sporting an off-shoulder UNC baby blue cocktail dress paired with stilettos and a sash, made quite an impression during the event.

Interestingly, Hudson’s participation comes amidst controversy, as she was recently barred from North Carolina’s soccer fields and facilities. This decision reportedly stems from public backlash concerning Bill Belichick’s legacy and reputation surrounding their relationship.

While Hudson is regarded as a strong competitor, it seems many are upset about her association with Belichick. “She’s very sturdy. She’s a tough cookie, but a lot of people are mad because of the whole bill situation,” said a source close to the pageant.

There were also whispers that she had been advised to keep a low profile before this recent public appearance. “No one ever spoke to her before today. I feel bad for her,” commented another insider. Hudson is among the most prominent contestants this year, alongside Isabel St. Sill from Monson, who is making history as the first trans woman to participate in the competition.

Earlier in the day, Hudson was seen rehearsing in a green and black jumpsuit, appearing confident and cheerful as she engaged with the audience and waved to onlookers.

Despite the ongoing complications related to her relationship with Belichick, a family source expressed concern about the negative impact on both Belichick’s reputation and Hudson’s future. The drama surrounding their relationship came to light again following an interview where Hudson interrupted a discussion about the former Patriots coach.

“People are seeing her as just someone riding on the coattails of fame,” shared a pageant source, reflecting mixed public sentiment about Hudson.

In light of these circumstances, there’s speculation that Hudson might receive support and advice from pageant insiders to navigate this challenging spotlight.

Hudson, who was a runner-up in the 2024 Miss Maine contest, recently confirmed she would represent Hancock in her hometown, sharing the news via her Instagram last month.

With the competition drawing near, the anticipation builds. “It’s really between her and Isabelle,” noted one source, clearly indicating the dynamic nature of this year’s event.
