Legendary football coach Bill Belichick is enjoying his time analyzing the league in his new media role, but he made it clear that he's not retiring from coaching just because he wasn't offered a coaching job after leaving the New England Patriots.
One NFL analyst believes there are already teams wanting Belichick's services after his terrible start to the 2024 season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to have lost the game.
The team fell to a tough loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday night and is now 0-3 under coach Doug Pederson.

Pederson is in his third season as head coach of owner Shad Khan's Jaguars, who are 0-8 in their last eight games since last season despite quarterback Trevor Lawrence just signing a massive contract extension that will pay them $55 million per year for the next five seasons.
Some in Jacksonville are already hitting the panic button, with Albert Breer of “The Monday Morning Quarterback” believing Belichick could be a candidate if the Jaguars decide to opt out of Pederson's contract.
“To me, it's just a sneaky exchange with Belichick,” Breer said on The Dan Patrick Show.
One of the main reasons Breer believes Belichick could be an option is that Khan and his son, Tony Khan, who serves as the team's chief football strategy officer, already have a relationship with Belichick.
Bill Belichick explains in one sentence why it's difficult to lure free agents to the Patriots.
“Tony Khan has a strong relationship with Bill Belichick, and when he hired Doug Marrone full-time he removed the interim tag. [in 2017]”That was largely on the advice of Bill Belichick. So Bill's been in the ears of the owners of that place for a while. And I wonder if that's not ringing in the owners' heads right now.”

Breer added that from a business standpoint, Belichick's arrival “could work in South Florida, selling sponsorships, selling suites, all kinds of things.”
“I think he has a house right around the corner,” Breier said, “and I think it's on I-95 in South Florida, so that wouldn't be bad either.”
Belichick was considered the front-runner to become head coach of another South team this offseason. The Atlanta Falcons invited Belichick to meet with them multiple times to discuss their head coaching vacancy before hiring Raheem Morris.
Belichick's resume is legendary, with six Super Bowl wins in 24 seasons with the New England Patriots and a dynasty with Tom Brady as quarterback.
When Belichick was unable to secure a coaching job, media outlets were clearly interested in the 72-year-old, but ESPN reported that Belichick would only return to coaching “if there's a good job and the right situation.”
The Jaguars, meanwhile, are trying to rebuild a team that appears to be sinking. They face the division rival Houston Texans this week and then travel to London to face the Indianapolis Colts, but it will be tough for them to bounce back.

“We need to make changes in play design, in personnel, in everything,” Pederson said after the loss to Buffalo.
“Everything is on the table, I would say. Those are all things I have to consider. We have to look at them as a staff and make adjustments.”

Pederson, who was hired by the Jaguars after Urban Meyer's departure in 2021, led the Jaguars to a playoff appearance two years ago and stunned the Los Angeles Chargers in a historic upset in the wild-card round.
