A video making the rounds shows former President Bill Clinton gently nudging his wife, former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as they attempt to cross a bustling New York City street. This incident occurred on Tuesday following an event and a visit with their daughter, Chelsea.
In the clip, Bill appears to be lightheartedly urging Hillary into the crosswalk, seemingly trying to expedite their crossing of the pedestrian bridge. Hillary, however, pushes back, raising her hands and exclaiming, “No, no, no, no, no. You can’t do that.”
Bill chuckled in response, “That’s not a good idea.”
Ultimately, the light changed, and they crossed without further incident, alongside a few security personnel. This moment unfolded shortly after both Clintons had given testimony in an inquiry related to the government’s dealings with the case against Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and sex offender.
In these depositions, conducted under subpoena, the Clintons addressed their knowledge and interactions regarding Epstein, who had significant connections with numerous high-profile individuals. While Bill has openly acknowledged his past ties with Epstein, including travel together, neither he nor Hillary has been accused of any misconduct related to him.
The ongoing investigation is looking into how Epstein formed relationships with influential figures, leading to their inclusion in the release of related documents.
