They’ve done it and it’s so unpopular that now they basically have to lie,” Maher said Friday night. told. “So some of President Trump’s statements sound similar to what he said about health care: ‘Make both sides happy… 15 weeks seems like a number that people can agree on.'” Can I lie and get out of this situation?”

The HBO host took a shot at the conservative right’s evolving abortion debate after claiming that Arizona is “definitely in favor of Democrats” and that the election will be a battle of “immigrants versus abortion.”

I really can. When the left says, ‘Oh, you know, they just hate women and people who don’t support choice.’ I scold them.” They don’t hate women. I just made it up. ”
He continued, “They think it’s murder, but it’s true. I’m fine with that. I’m like, ’cause there’s 8 billion people in the world. I’m sorry, we… I won’t miss you. That’s my word.” Position above it. ”

“He did that in 2016 to get evangelicals on his side. He said, ‘We’re going to pack the court, we’re going to get this done and overturn Roe v. Wade.’ They came together, and I think now he thinks he’s got them,” Morgan told Maher. “I don’t support what he’s doing, but I understand the political reasons for what he’s doing, and he’s really helping in neutralizing what is becoming a huge banana peel for the party. “And I think that’s what he recognizes. “And he’s going above and beyond. I think it might work out well for him.”
