A fan on a special tour of the soon-to-open Highmark Stadium shared a video of a large, broken folding table prominently displayed on the first floor of the concourse.
This unusual decoration, towering at around 20 feet, allows fans to walk underneath while enjoying food and drinks in the vicinity, as noted by those who spotted it.
It’s no secret that Bills Mafia has a reputation for jumping onto folding tables until they crack. A viral video from 2015 showed a fan slamming a Patriots supporter onto a table, which contributed to the lore of this wild tradition.
Some have even mentioned a recent video of Bills Mafia members spinning a Wiffle ball bat before barreling into a bus—a sort of dizzying prelude to their classic antics. Whichever story you pick, it seems this tradition really took off around 2015 and has maintained its place in Bills fan culture ever since.
A number of former players and celebrities, like Andre Reed and Jason Kelce, have joined in on the fun, further solidifying the connection between Bills fans and the table-breaking ritual.
The Highmark Stadium is set to officially open when the Bills face off against the Lions in Week 2 of the 2026 season.
This brand-new stadium, which came with a hefty price tag of $2.1 billion, received a notable contribution of $600 million from public tax funds and an extra $250 million from Erie County, where the stadium is located. In a 2024 discussion, a former adviser to the governor pointed out that while it might be a “great deal” for the Bills’ owner, it wasn’t quite so appealing for the local residents.
The most significant concern from fans, however, isn’t the stadium’s construction cost but rather the expense of attending games there.
The lowest-priced tickets for the Bills’ home opener have already peaked at $600 on SeatGeek, with those positioned in the upper tier of the 60,000-seat venue.

While the new stadium is certainly influencing ticket prices, there’s also a palpable excitement surrounding the team.
